As part of the Finance function, your work can make an immediate impact. The Financial Analyst (FA) Program is a two-year entry level leadership developmental rotational program which introduces college graduates to Citi Finance through diversified experiences. This Program offers a unique perspective providing development opportunities in Citi Finance while supporting various disciplines and businesses. Finance is comprised of various disciplines, including Controllers, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Capital Planning. Finance is:

• The driver of franchise-level decisions on capital planning, liquidity, budgeting, tax, strategic direction and policy management.
• The guardian and communicator of key financial information and controls for Citi, serving both an internal and external client base.
• A critical business partner to each Global Product, Region and Discipline, providing the data and analysis to enable Citi's leaders to make sound decisions in support of the business' objectives.

All FAs participate in a comprehensive training program in July and August. Training begins with a Citi orientation followed by technical training and soft skills training including, presentation skills, communication skills and leadership skills. This training will facilitate the ability to immediately contribute to their initial rotation.

Your time here will look something like this...

The FA program offers two one-year rotations and upon successful completion, an off-program placement in Citi Finance. In both rotations, FAs will have an opportunity to broaden skill sets, develop analytical skills, increase knowledge in different disciplines (Controllers, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Capital Planning), build professional networks and leadership capabilities. This rotation process helps FAs develop a solid knowledge base and broad range of skills while preparing them to take on future leadership roles in Citi Finance. Success in the FA program is a solid first step towards a successful career at Citi. Throughout the program, FAs will accelerate their learning and contribute to Finance priorities by gaining experiences through rotations and placements:

• FAs are required to move to a Finance role different from a summer placement or rotation (different discipline is recommended) for all placements. The goal of the second rotation is to help broaden finance skills, knowledge of the organization and expand networks.
• Upon successful completion of the program, FAs are considered for off-program placements within Citi Finance.
• FAs are placed in a specific role within one of the Finance disciplines. For prior Summer FAs, the rotation is typically in a new discipline to maximize development opportunities. During each rotation, FAs work closely with management teams and are provided the opportunity to add value to Citi through responsibilities including product control, financial closings and consolidations, developing financial controls, management reporting, planning and analysis, and management of balance sheets and liquidity.

• You have strong verbal and written communication skills
• You are currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics (graduating in December 2023 - June 2024) You currently maintain a GPA of 3.3 or above
• You are focused on achieving group and client objectives and able to build and maintain relationships
• You must possess valid US work authorization in order to be eligible to participate in the Program.
