Molecular Technologist Jobs

1. Performs nucleic acid extraction, PCR (polymerase chain reaction), and other molecular techniques.
2. Handles and processes samples for genetic testing, including DNA sequencing and genotyping.
3. Operates and maintains laboratory equipment and instruments.
4. Analyzes and interprets test results, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
5. Documents and reports test data and maintains accurate laboratory records.
6. Adheres to safety protocols and follows standard operating procedures (SOPs).
7. Participates in research and development projects related to molecular diagnostics.
8. Possess a Bachelors degree in biological sciences with more than one year of laboratory experience in a molecular diagnostics laboratory or a research laboratory.
9. Candidates with Master’s degree and/or ASCP(MB) certification with two-year job-specific experience will be given preference.
