The opportunity

In this microbiology laboratory position, your main responsibilities will be for the performance of microbiological and environmental monitoring testing activities within a GxP-compliant QC microbiology laboratory to support pre-clinical studies and clinical development for biological products manufactured in a GMP production facility. How you’ll spend your day

• Process environmental monitoring samples including plate enumeration and data entry.
• Perform routine and non-routine microbiological and analytical testing such as bioburden testing, bacterial endotoxin testing, conductivity testing, total organic carbon testing, media growth promotion and gram staining.

• Participate in and may assist in writing laboratory investigations.

• Perform release and stability testing and record data per GxP requirements.
• Participate in aseptic processing in a clean room environment.

• Actively contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe working environment in the laboratories.
• Maintain compliance with applicable ICH, GMP and safety regulations. Notify management of unexpected results, procedural deviations and equipment problems.
• Maintain a collaborative working relationship with external manufacturing/testing partners and other Teva departments during transfer and routine analysis.

Your experience and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or other relevant scientific discipline from an accredited college or university.
