Quality Control Analyst Jobs

Great opportunity within the Chatham County Board of Assessors for a Quality Control Analyst. Your Associate Degree and one (1) year of experience with computer systems, quality control, and quality assurance could be what we are looking for in this position.
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Quality Control Database Administrator, you will assist in analyzing Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) data, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) data, and divisional processes for quality control and assurance. You will assist in preparing reports, presentations, and notices such as the Tax Digest, Notice of Assessments, Board of Assessors Annual Report, and taxpayer brochures. In this position, you will assist with digest preparation, analyzing data, and meeting staff requests for reports and data. Your skills as an analyst are essential as you provide quality control and assurance for CAMA data and divisional processes using software systems, database queries, and cross-division input. Following emergency occurrences, you will assist in bringing all computers and related systems and equipment back up and running within the Board of Assessors office. You will assist in maintaining the Mapping System, including system updates and regular error checking, while also providing support and training to users to resolve trouble with software applications. Customer service skills are essential as you represent the Board of Assessors internally and with the general public, other municipalities, and State agencies. You will serve as the department liaison between the Board of Assessors and the ICS Department for problem resolution. You may be responsible for setting up and maintaining SharePoint sites for the department. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field, and at least one (1) year of computer systems and analysis experience, including responsibility for quality control and developing and monitoring systems project plans; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. You must possess or successfully complete the qualifications of the Appraiser III exam within a specified timeframe. You must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Notes: During emergencies and disasters affecting Chatham County, you may be required to report to work as part of a disaster operations team. You must reimburse the Board of Assessors for training and testing expenses upon voluntary termination of employment of fewer than 12 months of service. You will be subject to a 12-month probationary period.
