Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our dynamic Medical Billing - Claim Prep and File - Call Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with patients and their families over the phone, providing exceptional customer service while verifying demographics, insurance, and benefits. Your problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving coordination of benefits issues and ensuring a smooth patient experience. As a valued member of our team, you'll collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and deadlines.
DUTIES
Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.
Manage both inbound and outbound call volume efficiently and effectively.
Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals, fostering a supportive work environment.
Identify patients' needs, clarify information, and proactively research and provide comprehensive solutions.
Thrive as a team player, actively participating and contributing to the success of the team.
Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form.

Qualifications
Required Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a call center environment, showcasing your strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Intermediate knowledge and experience with computers and related technology.
One year of experience in a Healthcare/Revenue Cycle billing environment, demonstrating your understanding of medical billing processes.
Customer-focused mindset and the ability to adapt to different personality types.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and empathetic approach.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Office 365.
Preferred Experience
Minimum of one (1) year working in a customer service position, highlighting your dedication to delivering exceptional service.
Required Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Required Skills
Strong problem-solving abilities, enabling you to define, identify, and resolve issues.
Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers with a positive and proactive attitude.
Aptitude for data gathering, compilation, and analysis.
Capable of exercising independent judgment and handling confidential information with discretion.
Exceptional multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
