What You'll Do As An Adjunct Instructor
You will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals. Your duties will include:
Engaging Classroom Environment: Inspire and motivate students while following our established curriculum, creating a positive and dynamic educational climate.
Empowering Learning Objectives: Communicate clear objectives for all learning activities, supporting students as they grow in their knowledge and skills.
Student Success: Contribute to meeting course and school-wide performance goals, identifying and supporting students who may need additional guidance.
Individualized Support: Provide ongoing advisement and academic counseling through one-on-one tutoring and mentoring when needed.
Assessing Progress: Evaluate student achievements through a variety of methods, including tests, projects, and performance evaluations.
Lifelong Learning: Stay up-to-date in your field by participating in conferences, seminars, and training sessions, ensuring you remain at the cutting edge of nursing education.
What We Need From You
To excel in this role, you will need:
A Passion for Education: A Master's degree or higher in a related program of study from an accredited institution is required.
Subject Expertise: Demonstrated expertise with a minimum of 15 credit hours or equivalent in the assigned subject area.
Teaching Experience: A minimum of three years of work experience as an educator is preferred.
Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
