About The Role
Position: Marketing Manager
Location: Remote (some periodic travel required)
As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the operations of our marketing department. This involves assessing and formulating the organization's content marketing strategy, followed by planning, coordinating, creating, and directing lead generation efforts. Your mission is to ensure that our marketing strategy aligns seamlessly with the company's high-growth objectives and solid reputation, thereby sustaining our fast-paced expansion.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this remote position will require occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Planning:
Assess GrowthAssistant's needs and develop a comprehensive marketing strategy in line with our organization's rapid growth expectations.
Implement a holistic strategy capitalizing on our unique strengths, such as access to thousands of Growth Assistants and Marketing Leaders, while simultaneously enhancing brand awareness and positioning.
Content
Craft content that establishes GrowthAssistant as a recognized authority in our field.
Generate high-quality, engaging content across various formats, with an initial focus on Twitter and LinkedIn.
Establish and maintain a consistent content engine that consistently drives qualified leads and meetings, and explore additional channels for scaling growth.
Lead Generation
Drive qualified leads and meetings, nurturing potential customers through compelling content.
Actively participate in developing innovative methods to engage prospective enterprise clients and new Growth Assistants (GAs).
Analytics, Performance Tracking, And Reporting
Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions, continually improving marketing performance and campaign effectiveness.
Set and monitor KPIs, including leads generated, meetings secured, content engagement metrics, and ROI, to gauge the success and impact of marketing efforts.
Provide regular reports to the CEO.
Team Management
Lead and manage a team of direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture, empowering team members to take initiative and deliver exceptional results.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align marketing efforts and support overall business objectives.
Experience
About You:
Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience on data-driven marketing teams, including hands-on social media content creation.
Proven experience in high lead generation.
2+ years of experience as a leader with a track record of successfully managing a marketing team and developing effective marketing strategies, preferably in a B2B high-growth startup environment.
