This position reports to the Marketing Director and plays a key role on the Optum Rx Growth and Retention Marketing team supporting B2B marketing initiatives for a key strategic partner business segment.
This role focuses on helping grow the business segment through market positioning, various client communications, co-op marketing and other go-to-market strategies. This includes presentations, websites, digital campaigns, and lead-generating/awareness campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage custom microsite and thought leadership landing pages keeping content current and relevant and reporting on usage and analytics
- Partner internally to identify opportunities to initiate influencer marketing (case studies, testimonials, success stories, etc.)
- Manages multiple versions of materials and brands, co-branding and client-specific messaging
- Collaborate and partner with Sales, Product and Client Management in determining presentation strategy or collateral needs, then coordinate and execute the development, design, review/approval and completion of all materials
- Collaborate and execute on new sales tools such as videos, interactive guides, and lead generation campaigns
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Optum Rx business and product solutions in support of the segment, and apply this knowledge to develop product positioning, marketing content and sales materials
- Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and participate in client status meetings to keep them informed about campaign plans, results, and status of key initiatives
- Execute event strategy and support for key events including exhibit presence and speaker pitches
- Demonstrate the ability to distill complex ideas into easy-to-digest messages and designs
- Ability to be flexible and work independently
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to manage multiple deliverables against tight timelines, and be comfortable wearing multiple hats on a small, nimble Marketing team
- Planning and development of custom B2B marketing campaigns and external client communications including review/approval process and reporting

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of healthcare marketing experience
- Intermediate to advanced level of experience creating MS Power Point Presentations
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, sales/client management support
- Proven effectiveness to deliver results on multiple initiatives while working in a matrixed organization
- Proficiency in the MS office suite of Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Proven exceptional organizational skills with ability to execute on multiple projects and effectively establish priorities
- Experience executing successful digital campaigns (email, web or content marketing)
- 2+ years direct client-facing responsibilities
- Ability to be proactive, and move from strategy to execution and back again
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven creative mindset and formatting skills in PowerPoint
- Pharmacy benefit management (PBM) experience
- Event planning and sponsorship experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
