The Role


Senior Manager, Field Marketing role (chain) is responsible for guiding local marketing strategy for all non-participating FM program hotels in the Americas.The primary mission of the Senior Manager is to develop/implement turnkey marketing solutions with an emphasis on developing scalable efficiencies to manage the needs of all hotels not enrolled in the FM Program.This includes but is not limited to managing communication with hotels, being the primary liaison for the Digital Team, leading digital/marketing educational series as well as ongoing updates to the Field Marketing Team, and developing a framework for training and onboarding materials used both for the program and non-program hotels.The senior manager will also consult with regional CS and operations leaders on digital marketing strategy to drive revenue and business performance.


Additionally, the Senior Manager will provide marketing expertise that addresses individual hotel business objectives and solves business needs. Providing support to review performance results, help identify revenue opportunities as well as work to solve revenue challenges proactively and reactively with colleagues in the Commercial Services organization and Operations is key to being successful in this role.


The Senior Manager will also lead relationships with all approved agency partners, with responsibilities including, but not limited to annual pricing negotiations, leading all Quarterly Business Reviews, developing KPI methodology for agency accountability, and communicating and managing all aspects of vendor relationships.The senior manager will also collaborate with the global digital team on all agency relations and performance updates, as well as tracking and measurement updates and requirements.


Additional responsibilities include:


  • Develops and presents key training and education series for corporate and field audiences.
  • Collaborates with digital teams on the communication of corporate initiatives to the field to ensure maximum participation and compliance.
  • Acts as the first responder to non-FM program hotel regional leaders, owners, and operator questions/concerns about corporate strategy, campaigns, and digital and brand performance.
  • Provides regular reporting and insights on key performance metrics for all stakeholders.
  • Oversees Hyatt-preferred local digital marketing agencies, managing all relationship aspects including QBRs, pricing/packaging, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%


Qualifications


Experience Required:


  • Integrated marketing experience with an understanding of the role digital media plays in an overall marketing mix and plan.Comfortable navigating analytics across media types including digital.
  • Experience working closely in developing integrated plans with cross-functional counterparts.
  • Experience running digital campaigns (understands the fundamentals of Search, Paid Meta, and SEO content optimization strategies) and some sales/business development/consulting experience preferred as well.
  • 8+ years of marketing experience for a global brand.Hotel/hospitality industry preferred.
  • Strategic marketing plan development based on analytics/performance management and integrated execution with demonstrable results and return on investment (going beyond creative ideas to revenue-driving programming).


Experience Preferred:


  • Outstanding project management, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Events/meeting planning experience.
  • Highly self–motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Hotel/hospitality industry experience.
