Marketing Events Specialist Jobs

As a Marketing Events Specialist, you'll be handling all booking needs and requirements for leisure and business clients. Applicants should maintain a high level of professionalism, and listen to the needs of clients. Responsibilities & Roles

• Anticipate client needs when planning trips
• Effectively manage time wisely
• Obtain certification to book travel within 5-days of starting
• Participate in group meetings/training
• Follow all company rules and guidelines
• Handling booking airfare, car rental, cruises, hotels, tickets, and/or event sales
• Offer insurance options to clients to cover any unforeseen changes in plans
• Be a self-starter/motivated
• Handle all planning of ground transportation to and from accommodations for clients
• Maintain appropriate documentation of clients forms
• Attend ongoing training as needed
• Plan spectacular trips for corporate and leisure clients
• Work well in a group/team setting
• Participate in familiarization trips/tours
• Handle presenting presentations of services to other clients
• Prepare, plan, and sell travel (including but not limited to airline, car rental, cruises, hotels, and ticket/events)
• Exceed clients expectations
• Review and respond to all emails and phone calls within a timely manner
• Stay active on social media platforms to reach clients
• Verify all information from clients

Requirements

• Must be able to fluently speak English
• Must have reliable internet with access to a smartphone (laptop preferred, but not required)
• Must be able to work within the United States, and at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to attend required trainings
