Marketing Data Analyst - Suffolk County, Long Island

Position Overview:

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leveraging your strong analytical skills and financial services knowledge to extract valuable insights from marketing data. Your expertise in Excel and manipulating data will be instrumental in analyzing complex datasets, identifying patterns, and developing actionable recommendations. Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret marketing data from various sources, including CRM systems, financial records, and digital analytics platforms.

• Apply advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, providing valuable insights to support marketing strategies.

• Utilize your expertise in Excel to manipulate and transform raw data into meaningful and actionable information.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop segmentation models, MCIFs (Marketing Customer Information Files), and targeted marketing campaigns.

• Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports using tools like PowerBI, Domo, or Tableau to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

• Continuously monitor marketing performance and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics, marketing technology, and financial services to drive innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and an MBA is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least two years of experience in the financial services industry.

• Expertise in Excel and data manipulation techniques, with a proven ability to work with large and complex datasets.

• Proficiency in SQL, Data Prep, Google Analytics, and the Microsoft Suite.

• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, Domo, or Tableau.

• Familiarity with MCIFs (Marketing Customer Information Files) and segmentation models.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule, Monday to Friday. This position can be remote or with an optional hybrid model in their offices in Suffolk County, Long Island if local to the area.

The salary range for this position is highly competitive, ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
