Job Title: Los Angeles-Based Publicist for New and Upcoming Artist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and talented publicist to join our team in Los Angeles. As a publicist, you will work closely with new and upcoming artists, helping them establish their presence in the music industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field and a deep understanding of the Los Angeles music scene.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative and effective publicity campaigns for new and emerging artists
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers
- Coordinate press releases, bios, EPKs, and other promotional materials
- Secure placements in target publications, blogs, and digital platforms
- Create and manage press itineraries, interviews, and media appearances
- Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports to clients and internal team
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a publicist, preferably in the music industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
- In-depth knowledge of the Los Angeles music scene
- Familiarity with current music trends and digital platforms
- Proven track record of securing press placements for artists
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
