Job Description
:

What will you do?
  • Directs facility and organizational response to warranties and customer complaints, including but not limited to, product testing, conformance to specifications and process quality measurement
  • Leads the deployment of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies related to quality processes
  • Formulates Quality policies, operating procedures and the development of plans for monitoring, controlling and improving overall quality of all manufacturing operations with specific focus on fabrication and assembly processes
  • Champions the overall deployment of the Quality Management System and integration into facility processes
  • Partners with customers' Quality Assurance representatives to provide maximum customer satisfaction with the products produced and delivered by the plant
  • Provides leadership on quality processes to Engineering and Manufacturing in resolving defective materials and parts and recommends disposition consistent with maintaining product quality and minimizing scrap costs
  • Functions as a key member of the Leadership Team and directs and oversees the development of the quality strategy in an engineered-to-order facility
  • Aligns strategic focus of Quality team with the needs of the organization and identifies quality improvements to realize business success

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Demonstrated ability to implement Six Sigma methodologies, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis to assess quality processes on the manufacturing floor
  • 5+ year’s progressive experience in managing and developing quality systems
  • Bachelors degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering
