Paid Time Off:
Envision Healthcare offers paid time off, 9 observed holidays and paid family leave. You accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) each pay period and depending on your position and can earn a minimum of 20 days and up to 25 days per calendar year.
Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Analyst coordinates testing as part of the Software Development Life Cycle and observes the initial use of the system to ensure that it performs as planned. The QA Analyst works with project management, development teams, and RCM operational teams to develop, execute, and document test plans.

  • Develop regression test plans to verify that existing functionality remains unchanged by new development.
  • Diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and determine whether program requirements have been met.
  • Execute tests in test plans and document the results.
  • Maintain the test environment for regression, system, integration, acceptance, and unit testing.
  • Work in conjunction with configuration management, developers, project managers, testers, system administrators, and end-users to define and maintain installs, builds, and automation.
  • Write test cases based on information found in requirements and specifications, flowcharts, and process diagrams.
  • Provide updates to key stakeholders (business, users, operations, IT), and committees on the QA status.
  • Develop and document test plans.
  • Confirm that all required SDLC documentation is saved, including test plans and business sign-off.
Qualifications:
  • Specific knowledge of Emergency, Hospitalist, and Surgery RCM business is a plus.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of RCM business.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical partners (software development, engineers, architects, etc.) and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., business, senior leadership) in a clear and effective manner.
  • Strong analytical skills are desired.
  • Must be able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in various forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and correct errors.
  • Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data.

Education/Experience

  • Business and IT Automation
  • Experience in testing application software (manual and automated).
  • Experience with relational databases.
  • Technical School Certification, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree required (or an equivalent combination of experience and education).
  • Experience with hospital billing systems and accounts receivables is a plus.
  • The individual must possess 2-4 years of software testing experience in a full life cycle environment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Progress 4GL, Oracle
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and standards is required.
  • Prior knowledge of Healthcare Billing concepts, Imaging, and Workflow systems is preferred.
  • Demonstrated analytical and technical skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Progress 4GL, Oracle, VB, and .NET is preferred.
Annual Compensation- $56,747- 75,000 per yr.
Please note, this position is remote and the pay range presented is a full range in the role specific to 100% national labor mkt avg. Salary bands across the enterprise may differ due to cost of living adjustments and are specific to an employee’s address and state and can vary for higher labor mkts.
