Manager,Social Med & Online Re

Overview

Under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Public Relations, the Manager, Social Media and Online will serve as a central resource for social media strategy and best practice development. The focus of this role is to manage AltaMed social media channels to build reputation and generate patient growth. This role will

collaborate with key stakeholders across AltaMed to support various objectives for reputation, promotion and education.

Responsibilities

• Serves as central resource for social media strategy and best practice development.
• Manages AltaMed social media channels to build reputation and generate patient growth. Develops native social media content and repurposes existing and offline content for social media use. Develops and maintains editorial standards/guidelines and content calendars to ensure optimized/targeted messaging across various social media channels.
• Develops/pilots new social media initiatives for AltaMed
• Manages AltaMed social media analytics, tagging/tracking, and reporting. Converts findings into ongoing enhancements to social media strategy and tactics.
• Collaborates with other social media activities performed by other stakeholders to support reputation, fundraising, and recruitment objectives.
• Monitors/responds to online comments and reviews to enhance patient experience and improve online ratings.
• Works with Patient Experience team and other AltaMed stakeholders to develop/implement/track efforts to enhance online reputation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Develops/distributes social media analytics dashboards for key AltaMed stakeholders and leadership under the supervision of the Director.
• Works with AltaMed stakeholders to identify and engage with targeted online communities for patients and other key audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a relevant role within a large, multi-divisional organization or agency required.
• Understanding of social media and Web behavior for health care consumer audience
• Experience managing social media channels and developing social media content for health care consumer audience
• Experience with methods to monitor, measure, and enhance online reputation for healthcare consumer audience
• Experience with monitoring and responding to online comments and reviews from healthcare consumer audience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Journalism or related area required.
• Experience with social media platform analytics (e.g. Facebook, Twitter), Google Analytics, and using digital metrics to refine and optimize content to support business objectives
