a Day In The Life
The Content Marketing Writer is a creative and analytical thinker responsible for creating compelling and on-brand written content across various platforms, including social media, web, blogs, and email that reflect the brand's voice and messaging. They will conduct research, develop user-centric content strategies, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality content on time and on budget. The Content Marketing Writer will be a compelling brand storyteller and be able to help content design for a variety of formats, including text-based articles, infographics, and multimedia presentations.
You’re Awesome At

• Understanding of user experience, web analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM) skills.
• Ability to translate technical or complex ideas into clear, concise information for people with diabetes, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
• Familiarity with inclusive writing standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Skilled at short-form writing, long-form writing, UX writing, advertising copy, presentation points, user flows, and bite-sized copy blurbs.
• Global mindset when selecting language and word choices.
• Familiarity with content design thinking methodologies and human-centered design principles.
• Skilled at content strategy planning and execution across a variety of audiences, content types, platforms, and writing styles.
• Familiarity using website content management systems, content gathering tools, taxonomies, and editing platforms.

What You'll Need

• Include a link to your portfolio or attach at least 3 writing samples to your application.
• 2 plus years writing experience in an in-house creative department, advertising agency, design solutions firm, or related role.
• BA/BS in English, Literature, Liberal Arts, Communications, Marketing or similar related field or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.

Compensation & Benefits
The starting base pay range for this position is $70-86k annually. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus, equity, and a robust benefits package.
Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts.
