Assistant Writer Jobs

About the Role: Writer’s work alongside our Head Writer, to take ideas from concept to fully-developed Video Outlines and Scripts. The Final Script is then passed off to production, and ultimately turned into a Youtube Video.
Responsibilities:
Develop Video Segments:
- Bit Options: the different parts within the video
- Bit Mechanics: How the bit works on a Granular Level
- Run Options: The Different Ways each bit can play out (i.e. Different Characters, Lines, Props…)
Develop Video Outline:
- Intro Options: ways in which the video can begin to immediately captivate the audience and clearly explain the video idea
- Bit Options
- Transition Options: How Each Segment of the video is connected via Script
- Outro Options: ways the video can come to a close, engaging the audience all the way to the finish line
Develop Video Script:
- Work with Head Writer to Create a Final Script
Requirements:
- Previous Writing Experience, preferably in Unscripted TV
- Proficient in Screenwriting
- Advanced Understanding of Youtube
- Works Well in a Collaborative Environment
- Coachable & Adaptable
