Manager: Revenue Management


The position for the Manager: Revenue Management is part of the Revenue Management team. The Revenue Management team is comprised of the billing, payment processing, collections and credit/ under-writing functions. This position will positively impact revenue and margins by driving an efficient and accurate revenue life cycle, and supporting the business by researching and validating revenue, finance, and billing data. This role is charged with streamlining and expanding upon current structures in place by defining, documenting, implementing, and measuring both manual and automated processes to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and analysis.


Responsibilities


  • Proactively identify and resolve existing and potential future billing and account issues in a timely and accurate fashion by displaying an acute attention to detail
  • Create new processes to handle new and evolving technologies and solutions
  • Work with Manager of Billing Data & Analytics to document, define, and automate existing processes, to ensure they are streamlined and efficient
  • Support financing, month end close, and other critical tasks as necessary
  • Assist in gathering requirements and QA testing for new development on projects designed to improve billing, customer experience, reporting, data and sales center performance
  • Eliminate processes that lead to wastage of time and resources and improve time and cost effectiveness of the system
  • Coordinate and work directly with cross functional teams to analyze and adjust processes and functionality to ensure that billing information is accurate, and the process is efficient
  • Track all critical KPIs, and create new measurements as appropriate
  • Ensure that Daily, Cycle Based, and Monthly controls and activities are completed on time, accurately, and in full
  • Work with Sr. Manager on Reviews, Goals and Budget considerations
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
  • As needed: assist with project planning, testing, and implementation of automated processes to assist with data and analysis
  • Work with Sr. Manager of Revenue Management to supervise the daily responsibilities associated to and ensuring the smooth process of each billing cycle (invoicing+drafting+documentation), along with all other standard day to day activities.
Requirements


  • Ability to shift between high profile projects and analysis
  • Experience with Tableau is preferred
  • Demonstrated success supervising human resources
  • Significant experience with other Microsoft Office products (Visio, Excel, Word)
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Ability to provide detailed analysis and independent recommendations on process changes, automation, and project implementation
  • Extremely high proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • High degree of attention to detail and sense of urgency in completing projects and analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 7-10 years documented success in financial analysis and reporting
  • Experience with Python Coding is preferred
