JOB SUMMARY:
The Department of Revenue Cycle at UT Southwestern Medical Center has a new employment opportunity available for the role of Technical Denial Management Specialist I. This is a work from home position. Exact details related to WFH will be discussed as part of the interview process.

EXPERIENCE | EDUCATION:
REQUIRED:
High School Diploma
One (1) year administrative or customer service experience required
One (1) year medical claim recovery and/or collections experience preferred
JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for outbound calls and/or status inquiries via payer’s website validating receipt of medical claims.
Verifies insurance.
Update insurance demographics and rebill claims not received.
Documents all work, and calls performed.
Obtain primary and/or secondary EOB and CMS 1500 to bill next responsible payer.
Utilize various internal resources to obtain medical records to respond to requests from the third-party payers for additional information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
