The Manager of HR Technology will lead the team supporting our HR systems, this team is the first to respond to any people data, hiring and HR related help desk issues. As Manager of this team, you will own Oracle system maintenance related to journeys, onboarding, HR Hierarchy, data integration, testing and troubleshoots, standard reporting needs and other HR functional administrative processes. You will own the HR Technology help desk and support ticket processes, working to ensure issues and problems are addressed timely and status is communicated and escalated clearly. You will be the primary liaison between the Business, IT partners and Vendors to ensure timely and efficient problem resolution as it relates to problem tickets, enhancement requests, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic focus to the support team by setting direction, aligning individual staff goals to HR priorities and objectives, making related process improvements, and holding staff accountable based on defined KPIs. Manage, coach, and develop staff into a high performing team. Foster an environment of continuous improvement. Create and monitor performance indicators that measure staff’s performance.
  • Build team testing approach for quarterly patches in partnership with IT. Define and lead testing efforts based on SaaS products deployment schedule. Work collaboratively with your peers in HR to ensure thorough testing is completed for new releases, quarterly patches and compliance updates.
  • Provide visibility and communicate status of support process to HR Leaders and Stakeholders/Customers. Escalate issues to leaders as needed.
  • Ensure that all processes used by the service desk are thoroughly documented, consistently audited, and regularly improved. Set KPI’s (Key Performance indicators) to measure team success in addressing tickets.
  • Support key business processes and Compliance related annual activities. Partner with internal audit to ensure completion of SOD analysis and maintenance annually.
  • Define/refine and implement Team Service Level Agreements and communicate accordingly to stakeholders. Develop, refine, and implement problem resolution processes. Set standards, RACI and build/implement communication matrix based on ticket severity. Analyze and communicate root cause analysis. Set coverage and on-call schedules to ensure service coverage based on SLA.

  • HR Tech/HRIS/IT and/or five years of experience in an IT and/or help desk environment, preferred
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical partners within the business
  • Education: Bachelors Degree , preferred
  • Detail oriented with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Plans and completes work effectively and efficiently, meets assigned deadlines, and makes sound decisions
  • Experience with systems testing plan development and process mapping
This position can be performed remotely. Our Home Office located in Dublin, OH is open and we will provide office space for the selected candidate if they have a desire to participate in a hybrid schedule.
