Manager, Data and Continuous Improvement

Gatehouse Administration Center

Description

Plans, manages, and coordinates the collection, analysis, review, and action plans in response to Strategic Plan monitoring data to inform divisionwide improvement efforts; consults with Division leaders to determine and secure appropriate data sources to drive systemwide improvements; supports enterprise decision-making that is informed by qualitative and quantitative data; collaborates with stakeholders to evaluate and prioritize promising processes; provides recommendations on process enhancements based on analysis and identified opportunities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in education, public administration, business administration, data science, statistics, or a related field.
  • Ability to supervise and lead.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
  • Knowledge of public school organization, administration, and practices.
  • Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience in the field of education, strategic planning and implementation, business process consulting, and/or project management, some of which shall have been in a leadership capacity.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Ability to manage fiscal, physical, and human resources to successfully carry out the function and programs of the office to which assigned.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting, including data analysis, data visualization, and statistical tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a timely manner.
  • Ability to problem-solve multifaceted issues by analyzing information, evaluating results, and choosing the best approach to short- and long-term problems.
  • Ability to establish and maintain successful collaborative working relationships to address complicated or long-term needs with culturally diverse external and internal clients.
  • Knowledge of data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting methods.
  • Knowledge of best practices, industry standards, and current trends related to effective strategic planning and project management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Preferred

  • Master's degree.
  • Postgraduate Educational License.
