Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Analyze operational expenses. Support monthly financial metrics and corrective actions. Provide analytical support for Distribution and Transportation metrics.
• Identify project opportunities using both top-down and bottom-up techniques while working with various levels within NA Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution. Prioritize and coordinate improvement projects with functional leaders and execute projects per prioritization to achieve both financial and non-financial targets.
• Provide analytical support with monthly financial reporting and yearly budgeting processes related to NA Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution OPEX. Provide support with monthly corporate accounting close, including analyzing and preparing operational and freight accruals, intercompany billing and verification of expected account entries.
• Perform financial forecasting related to NA Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution organization. Provide variance analysis of actuals versus forecast and reconciliation of internal accounts.
• Support the site Procure to Pay processes to ensure systems and procedures are performing as expected to meet our vendor commitments.
• Grow project delivery capability within organization through education, standard work and best practice examples. Maintain master projects list and details for the organization.
• Facilitate project reviews on a recurring basis. Business project responsibilities will include monitoring, analyzing and reporting on program tasks and milestones as they relate to NA Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Must possess a working knowledge of project and portfolio management techniques, cGMP requirements, process improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma) and an understanding of complexities working in highly regulated environments.
• Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
• Must possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong accounting and knowledge of financial controls and processes is required.
• Must possess overall knowledge of pharmaceutical processes (Quality, Manufacturing, Packaging and Distribution. Expertise in one or more areas of pharmaceutical processes strongly preferred.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4-7 years of experience. A Master’s Degree (or equivalent is preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
• Must possess excellent communication skills across a range of boundaries (functional and regional) and in a variety of settings (one-on-one, small groups, public speaking).
• Must possess knowledge of state and federal regulatory agency rules and regulations as they pertain to the storage and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel data analysis and in detailed analysis using Minitab, Tableau (or equivalent) software is strongly preferred. Intermediate or higher-level skill with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software (such as SAP) is preferred.
