Role and Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance-The primary responsibility of this position is to perform a variety of maintenance electrical work under the supervision of an Electrical Journeyman and/or the Electrical Administrator. Specific duties include, assist in installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the utilization and distribution of electric energy, using a variety of hand tools, Use of measuring and testing instruments, Machinery control, relay logic level control, process control, lighting of various types and voltages, pneumatics’ scale systems, VFD’s, soft starts, motor control MCC’s. Other duties as assigned.

This position reports directly to the Electrical Administrator.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• The employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Experience with mechanical and electrical.

• Experience in Relay Logic, Motor Controls, Process Controls, Level Controls including Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Pressure and Temperature.
• Experience using measuring and testing instruments
• Experience in Process Machinery.
• Experience in VFD’s, soft starts, motor control MCC’s.
• Preferred applicants will have a valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in Fire Alarm Control.
• Experience in Refrigeration Control.
• Experience in Lighting Control, Multiple Voltages.
• Applicant must possess proficient Math Skills.
• Ability to communicate in the English language, comprehending, speaking, reading and writing in English.
