Job Description
Support the operation of high-speed manufacturing production equipment in processing and packaging to produce Milk-Bone product for the company.

Pay Rate: $37.49/hour plus shift differential (if applicable).

With overtime earning potential up to $110k+ / year!!!

Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist fellow employees as needed.
  • Saturday Overtime shifts available 7am-3pm and/or 5am-5pm
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
  • Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts, starting on 2nd or 3rd shift. Flexible to work any shift and weekends.
  • All Sunday work is double time
  • Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner
  • Other overtime opportunities
  • Work in all areas of processing and packaging, as assigned, which includes being in close proximity to and crossing platforms over machinery. Cross-training will occur throughout the facility in all aspects of high-speed manufacturing.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily.   • Selected individuals must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be highly motivated and responsible, and work well within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of baking and high-speed packaging equipment is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics and parts specifications.
  • Ideal candidate will have ability to diagnose, repair machine malfunctions, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, manufacturing systems and controls.
  • Experience as an industrial mechanic in a high-speed manufacturing or technical environment required.
  • Perform all duties related to computerized preventative maintenance programs.
  • Must have own hand tools.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High-school degree or equivalent is required. Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of related work experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP's and general instructions. Good communication skills are required.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out both oral and written instructions.

  • The employees must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and lift. The employee is required to stand and walk at minimum 70% of the time.
  • The employee must be able to work in a cold and hot environment.
