We are currently looking for an entrepreneurial Project Manager to help achieve our full potential in international markets. Localization is not just responsible for translation, but for cultural adaptation of everything related to the experience with products, websites, and marketing assets to provide Pinners with an experience that feels local. What You’ll Be Working On
What you’ll do:

• Implement scalable end-to-end localization frameworks for Pinterest scaled platforms. Plan and manage localization schedules, collaborating cross functionally with teams managing our scaled platforms and vendors to define requirements and manage timelines.
• Analyze current pain points in workflows, identify gaps or inefficiencies, actively provide recommendations for scalable solutions, and document localization workflows.
• Demonstrated knowledge of internationalization and localization standards and best practices.
• Maintain website's linguistic QA program by partnering with vendors and creating translation-quality scorecards for reporting to stakeholders.
• Educate and guide engineers, product managers, and designers on internationalization and localization best practices.
• Work with one or more internal teams who own Pinterest websites and content verticals.
• Localize content, understand requirements, and craft scalable solutions for global markets and for the localization workflow.
• Ensure smooth and scalable localization handoffs and deliveries with the localization vendor and maintain regular communications with them to ensure that both sides are set up for success on an ongoing basis.

What we’re looking for:

• Knowledge of a second (or third!) language. This is a temporary contract position at Pinterest.
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and you have a demonstrated ability to manage priorities and projects and the right mix of organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and passionate about working cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
• Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience analyzing data sets, define metrics and create dashboards that can be used to make business decisions.
• Experience with localization platforms, file formats, and CAT tools.
• Highly desirable: localization experience with CMS (content management systems), experience with LMs (learning management systems), experience with localization of images/static assets.
• 2+ years of experience in localization program management.

As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed either by our staffing partner (PRO Unlimited) or by an agency supplier partner, and not an employee. All interviews will be scheduled and/or conducted by the assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, PRO Unlimited or the agency supplier partner will extend the offer and provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding.
