Job Description

We are working with a leading global alternative asset management firm providing investment products in a range of areas. They are looking to hire a Legal Operations Analyst to join their Legal Team and assist with KYC requests from counterparties, account openings and closings, the negotiation and maintenance of trading documentation, and legal entity life cycle management. This is a long-term contract opportunity.


Key responsibilities:

  • Daily interaction between traders, operations, accounting, custodians, and brokers.
  • Manage and maintain internal databases for entity and document management.
  • Assist with a variety of daily tasks related to onboarding counterparties and KYC requests
  • Assist attorneys in the Legal Group and act as liaison between the Legal team and various internal groups to facilitate the negotiation, review, approval and maintenance of trading documentation, including prime brokerage documentation, swap documentation, repurchase agreements, securities lending agreements, futures agreements and options agreements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Prior experience with trading/legal documentation and knowledge of the industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • 2+ years of experience at a legal firm, hedge fund or top tier firm.
