Our Company is a vibrant and growing Labor & Employment Law Firm located in the dynamic Galleria area, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented legal assistant to join our dedicated team in the Litigation and Worker's Compensation section. As a legal assistant in our firm, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing invaluable support to our attorneys and ensuring smooth operations within the office. We understand that exceptional customer service and effective communication are crucial in delivering the highest level of service to our clients.
Responsibilities
Be the friendly voice of our firm, handling incoming calls and promptly directing them to the appropriate party
Manage calendars to keep track of important deadlines and appointments
Maintain organized office files for easy accessibility
Assist our Operations Manager, Office Manager, and Attorneys with various administrative tasks as needed
Engage in professional communication with clients, doctor's offices, judges, and opposing counsels
Prepare And Draft Correspondence, Showcasing Your Excellent Writing Skills
Upload and file legal documents with precision and attention to detail
Handle scanning, mailing, and faxing tasks efficiently
Ensure proper records management to maintain the integrity of our case files
Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a law firm setting is required
Your pleasant and friendly demeanor will contribute to our positive work environment
Prior customer service experience will be highly beneficial in providing exceptional client support
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in operating multi-line phone systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients
General computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
