Job summary
Under moderate supervision, responsible for collaborating with business units and/or Lines of Business to resolve learning needs and provide appropriate solutions by crafting, developing, and administering a variety of Learning and Development programs.
Duties and responsibilities
- Helps build and coordinate Learning and Development (L&D) training programs in three key areas; Learning Resources, Content and Curriculum Development, or Learning Platform Operations. Coordinates with department for partnership to ensure effective outcomes.
- Uses the learning dashboard for training analytics and standard learning metrics to evaluate learning effectiveness that help drive team initiatives.
- Ensures all new content creation is aligned with LMS governance guidelines.
- Researches learning industry trends, methodologies, and best practices and integrates those into professional practice.
- Leads communication and marketing plans for new courses and training updates within the department.
- Collaborates with business unit or LOB partners to identify learning and development needs and makes recommendations of appropriate solutions that meet the organization's learning demands.
- Partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and/or develop content and design training material, if needed. Recommends appropriate solutions and delivery methods to optimize knowledge transfer.
- Develops and updates training materials, programs, curriculums and collections within the LMS as needed. May facilitate these updates as needed.
- Develops sound relationships with business partners, managers, consultants and trainers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in human resources or related field required. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. The skills to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to efficiently present information. Ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service. Strong communication skills. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to work efficiently with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Financial knowledge
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complicated documents. Ability to address problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and become proficient in use of company's Learning Management System (LMS). Should be able work in high pressure environments with proactive approach including handling multiple time lines and changing project scope/direction.
Scope of responsibility
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and time lines. Responsible for setting own project time lines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
