How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The Training and Development Program Manager for RES Frontline Leaders will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for our organization's frontline leaders. This role will work closely with senior management to identify and address training needs and develop strategies to ensure the success of our frontline leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching and feedback to frontline leaders to support their ongoing development
  • Partner with external training vendors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective training solutions
  • Own the end-to-end new leader onboarding and continuous learning experiences while collaborating with the Delta Corporate Learning Team to ensure a seamless experience with corporate training initiatives
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills and develop training plans to address those gaps
  • Stay up-to-date with the enterprise needs, latest trends and best practices in leadership development and training
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver training programs that are aligned with the organization's objectives and goals
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for RES frontline leaders, including leadership development, communication skills, engagement, and other relevant topics
  • Use a variety of instructional techniques and training methods, including online learning, classroom training, job shadowing, and coaching
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to identify and respond to changing business needs and emerging trends in leadership development
What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Candidates for this position should have at minimum a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or at least 5 years of experience in leadership development and training with a focus on frontline leaders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other training and development software tools
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Where permitted by applicable law, you have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
