Location: Located in Boston, Travel Required

Compensation: $110k yearly plus bonus eligibility

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule/Availability: Clinic Operating Hours (as posted on website) including mall holiday extended hours and weekend availability

Ability to commute/cover other clinics: Reliably commute to home clinic location & travel to other clinics.

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:

  • Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment such as phones, keyboards, computers, and touch screen devices.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must have the ability to lift and carry inventory and move clinic equipment. Regularly required to reach, crouch, kneel, bend, twist, push, pull, and carry up to 25lbs.
  • This work is performed in a retail environment and requires the ability to walk short distances and stand for long periods of time.
  • Frequently talking and listening to clients in person and on phone.

Skin Laundry Lead RN is vital to the company's growth by expertly and efficiently supporting the Field Team. Lead RN evaluates and ensures all clinics within the district provide high-quality medical treatments and excellent experience for all clients while maintaining compliance. Additionally, the Lead RN is responsible for ensuring medical training and safety standards are upheld within the district. Lead RN acts as a direct medical business partner to the District/Regional Manager to elevate medical efficacy and standards and drive key performance indicators maximizing performance and achievement of the district plan and goals. For non-medical matters, the Lead RN reports directly to the District Manager/Regional manager while providing ongoing collaboration with Clinic Managers. For medical matters, the Lead RN directly reports to the Director of medical innovation and education and the Director of medical compliance and safety.

General Expectations (include but are not limited to):

  • Acting as emergency coverage within the district and performing laser treatments should the needs of the business require (IE due to call-outs, PTO, etc.)
  • Schedule will be made in advance by District/Regional Managers based on the business and clinic training needs, this may include some weekends
  • Performing Lead RN primary responsibilities (see below) on a weekly basis

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

1. Direct and Indirect Client Care and Service when acting as coverage

  • Acts as emergency coverage within the district when feasible, collaborating with District/Regional Manager to determine priorities o Assist with clinic coverage to meet 90% of goal RN schedule budget, including providing coverage when needed
  • Same responsibilities as clinic Registered Nurse, see RN

2. New Medical Provider Hiring and Onboarding

  • Plans and executes all new hire training
  • Complete new RN onboarding training plan collaborating with Clinic Manager and District/Regional Manager
  • Shares new RN training plan with TA partner and District/Regional Manager with Lab (Clinic) Manager on copy for visibility § Update New Talent Master Schedule and District planning as needed
  • Ensures SLU course completion before new RN enters hands-on training sessions § Shares the new RN training folder and communicates the completion of RN onboarding with Medical Director with Senior Medical Leadership on copy for visibility
  • Screens and performs technical interviews with new RN candidates within the district, passing all qualified candidates to the Clinic Manager and/or District/Regional Manager

3. Medical Training

  • Collaborate with District/Regional Manager and Clinic Managers weekly to understand areas of medical performance opportunity and strengths within the district and prioritize the clinic visits accordingly
  • New RN training
  • Assists the Director of medical innovation and education and Director of medical compliance and safety in various ways to improve processes, protocols, policies, training, education and overall patient (client) care as needed
  • Maintains Clinic Training Folder with proper training documentation
  • Point of contact for urgent medical support, escalating to the Medical Leadership following chain of command, as needed
  • Reinforce new protocol rollouts and implementation
  • Daily RN observations and touch base with RN(s) to recap audit and discuss action plans
  • Support in creating virtual US RN Team call video
  • Reinforcement training for FOH/BOH within the district to promote high standards of care, consistency, and utmost client experience
  • Daily clinic flow observation (New client and returner).
  • Collaborate with the field leadership team on monthly all-clinic virtual training

4. Safety and Compliance

  • Ensures district-specific compliance standards are upheld
  • Keeps track of all medical equipment within the district and ensures Global Equipment Sheet is updated weekly
  • Performs monthly clinic walkthroughs for all clinics within the district
  • Responsible for investigating any breach in the protocol by clinic RNs and providing coaching. Collaborates with the District/Regional Manager in preparing for verbal or written counseling, with approval from the Director of medical innovation and education, Director of medical compliance and safety, and HR business partner for the district.
  • Monthly Medical audit (Equipment & Safety) and touchbase with CM(s) to recap audit and discuss action plans
  • Maintains Clinic Training Folder with proper training documentation
  • RN credential renewal follow up
  • Updates Verified Certifications Sheet regularly ensuring all RNs maintain active licensure at all times
  • Adverse reaction and medical complaint follow-up, intervention, and escalation
  • Daily medical chart audit and follow up. Update chart error tracking sheet, as needed.
  • Reinforces Concern Resolution Process with District team o Oversee and collaborate with Medical project Manager on medical equipment management, troubleshooting, and communication
  • Point of contact for any medical concerns and ensures all medical complaints are resolved in a timely manner and documented

5. Operations

  • Maintain protocol binder up-to-date and equipment safety manuals
  • Weekly District Alignment calls
  • Weekly alignments with medical leadership team
  • Weekly alignments with District/Regional Manager

Requirements:

o RN license and BLS certification always kept current and active

o Able to work 40 hours per week with open availability

o Able to abide by Skin Laundry scheduling based on business and clinic needs

o Reliable transportation to support district clinic visits
