Laundry Manager (#011910) Tyger River Correctional Inst, Enoree (Spartanburg) Level 2

Job Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the commissary manager,
• Ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of inmate clothing.
• Supervises the laundry operation to include, ordering supplies, maintaining accountability for all laundry items.
• Also assists the commissary manager in ordering, distributing and accounting for all commissary supplies.
• Serves as a backup to the commissary manager. Monday Friday work week 15 days of annual leave (vacation) per year 15 days sick leave per year 13 paid holidays Major medical insurance (BlueCross/BlueShield) Vision and dental insurance
• Ensuring machinery is working properly and adjusting the laundry schedule as needed to accommodate holidays.

Must successfully complete eight (8) week SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Minimum And Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and work experience directly related to the area of employment.
SCDC Minimum Requirements
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State of Human Resources).
