Location: Miami, Brickell Area
Reporting to: General Manager, Travel Retail Americas
Manages: Directly manages Key Account Managers / Area Managers and Sales Support Executives. Indirectly manages Field Supervisors.
Region under responsibility: Latin America
MISSION:
Drive, manage and control all sales resources and efforts in order to accomplish objectives in terms of net revenues, profitability, market share, working capital and brands positioning, in accordance with the regions Marketing and Sales plans.
KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adapts trade terms to country and client needs to guarantee the accomplishment of the objectives in terms of sales and margin.
- Looks for opportunities of new accounts openings, new airport/PoS concessions.
- Defines together with the General Manager the short and mid-term overall commercial strategies for the region under responsibility, to reach defined business objectives.
- Develops entrepreneurial commercial leaders capable of looking for new ways to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
- Lead strict control of distribution to protect our brands equity.
- Leads the commercial actions and negotiations with TR Accounts and participates in negotiation of Global agreements.
- Responsible for the region P&L.
Responsibilities also include:
Leads and manages the sales team and motivates sales force to obtain maximum efficiency of resources.
- Defines sales team annual objectives and evaluates the performance of the sales team against those objectives, providing constant guidance and feedback.
- Works with Customer Development to define the criteria used to assign Sales Representatives and Beauty Consultants to retailers and PoS.
Coordinates with Marketing and Retail all promotional and PoS activities, ensuring first class service is provided to retailers.
- Negotiates A&P programs with Key Accounts and supervises and controls all A&P investments of the area under responsibility.
- Works to improve space visibility of Puig Brands through negotiation with retailers and distributors.
- Coordinates with the retail design department all personalization projects.
Ensures a smooth coordination exists between the Sales Team and Customer Development to develop the account plans.
Provides feedback and information to be used in the Demand Planning process to ensure the correct inventory levels are available.
Schedules yearly calendar to conduct market visits and meetings with clients.
- Travel: availability to travel up to 40% of the time.
- Excellent command of Spanish and English.
- Goal oriented: business drive to achieve results, sensitivity to luxury and attention to details.
- Consumer focused: understanding of the Americas region and diverse consumers to propose ideas that fit the needs and particularities.
- Strategic Thinking: ability to define priorities and plans to achieve results.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- People Management skills: ability to lead a team, to drive performance and develop team members to their full potential.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Luxury Management or similar.
- Creative thinker: analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication skills: ability to establish strong working relationships with cross functional teams and to convey messages in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Min 10 years’ experience in Commercial and retail leadership positions in the Luxury industry, preferably in Travel Retail.
- Flexibility & Time Management: ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and take responsibilities for deadlines.
