Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of Labor Relations experience gained in either an HR Business Partner (HRBP) role, Labor Relations Advisory role, or equivalent experience as an employment attorney practicing labor law.
  • Experience working with labor law principles and advising on labor relations matters.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience advising on a wide range of labor relations issues, including union organizing, labor disputes, and grievance handling.
  • Ability to establish cross-functional relationships at all levels and geographies.
  • Ability to persuasively convey opinions and recommendations, both written and verbally.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage global projects.
  • JD with employment law focus and/or experience.
About The Job
The Labor Relations Team encourages a direct engagement culture and works with leaders and the organization to enable and drive that culture. We manage our relationships with both our full-time employees and our vendors with regard to labor relations. We manage relationships with external unions where applicable. We train and elevate managers and leaders to address labor relations issues as needed. We ensure that we comply with local laws and have a consistent approach both locally and globally.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead multiple labor relations projects simultaneously. Contribute to a global, regional, and local labor relations strategy for People Operations, including business imperatives, company/local culture, and legal risks.
  • Lead and manage rollout of labor relations training for key stakeholders. Partner with the wider business to understand planned organizational changes and develop a plan to address those needs from a labor relations point of view.
  • Build and maintain roadmaps and planning documentation, helping to organize, support, and coordinate activities across the United States and Canada.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., People Operations, Legal, Employee Relations, and Communications) in a fast-paced environment. Establish expectations and rationale on deliverables for stakeholders and contributors.
