Media relations experience preferred, including knowledge of media operations, newsroom responsibilities and editorial decision-making.

Serves as the State’s Chief Negotiator and advises the Governor on labor strategy and labor relations-related matters affecting the State’s workforce.

Demonstrated skills in conflict management, grievance avoidance, and establishing effective relationships

Knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to labor relations and human resources management in the public sector

Skilled in basic computer skills - word processing, spreadsheet, email and document management
