Overview A Labor Relations Representative is responsible for managing labor relations and collective bargaining agreements between employers and labor unions. They are responsible for negotiating and administering labor contracts, resolving labor disputes, and providing advice and guidance to employers and labor unions on labor relations matters. Detailed Job Description Labor Relations Representatives are responsible for managing labor relations and collective bargaining agreements between employers and labor unions. They are responsible for negotiating and administering labor contracts, resolving labor disputes, and providing advice and guidance to employers and labor unions on labor relations matters. They must be knowledgeable of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements, and must be able to interpret and apply them to specific situations. They must also be able to effectively communicate with employers, labor unions, and other stakeholders. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to interpret and apply labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements
• Ability to resolve labor disputes

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in labor relations, human resources, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in labor relations
• Professional certification in labor relations (e.g. Certified Labor Relations Professional)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements
• Knowledge of labor relations strategies and tactics
• Knowledge of labor relations principles and practices
• Knowledge of labor relations processes and procedures
Job Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in labor relations
• Experience in negotiating and administering labor contracts
• Experience in resolving labor disputes
• Experience in providing advice and guidance to employers and labor unions on labor relations matters
