We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior SA/IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical assistance and support to our employees, ensuring their seamless productivity across Windows, Apple, and Linux operating systems.
Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions, enhancing the overall efficiency and performance of our IT infrastructure.
• Provide end-user training and guidance on software and system usage, empowering employees to utilize technology effectively and independently.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, ensuring optimal functionality and compatibility across multiple operating systems.
• Assist in the setup and configuration of workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals, ensuring seamless integration with Windows, Apple, and Linux systems.
• Deliver top-notch technical support for our diverse user base, resolving hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, Apple, and Linux platforms.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in Windows, Apple, and Linux operating systems, applying this knowledge to optimize our IT support processes.
• Conduct comprehensive troubleshooting and problem analysis to identify root causes and deliver effective resolutions within agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Apple Certified Mac Technician, Linux Professional Institute Certification) are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
• Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for Windows, Apple, and Linux operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance across multiple platforms.

The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $35-45/hour.
If you have work experience/proficiency in configuration/maintenance with two or more of the following: Juniper Switches (Routers a plus), AWS, VPN (Pulse Secure preferred), IP Fabric, Python scripting, expertise in routing and switching, or Wireless Access Points, you could be the perfect candidate for this exciting opportunity.
