Job Description
We are seeking a talented and driven Junior Social Ad Buyer to join Onda on an independent contractor basis, working with our eCommerce D2C clients. As a Junior Social Ad Buyer, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing successful social media advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.


The ideal candidate will have some experience in Facebook and Instagram advertising and a solid understanding of the Facebook Ads Manager platform. You will work closely with our senior ad buyers, who will provide guidance and leadership, to gain an in-depth understanding of our client's brand and marketing objectives. With their support, you will use your expertise to create and optimize campaigns that will drive conversions, increase revenue, and improve ROI.


As part of the team, you will be responsible for following the directions and guidance provided by the senior ad buyers. This includes implementing the strategies, techniques, and best practices shared by the senior team members to ensure the success of the campaigns. Collaborating closely with them, you will analyze audience data, develop new strategies, and stay updated on the latest industry trends to keep our clients ahead of the competition.


We are looking for someone who has experience running successful campaigns on a meta-level, leveraging their knowledge to deliver outstanding results for our clients. Your ability to analyze data, identify trends, and adapt campaigns accordingly will be crucial in achieving our client's goals.

Currently, in the Onda talent pool, we have talent that only takes on one project at a time, and on the flip side, we have talent that have upwards of 10+ projects at any given time. We are happy to accommodate whatever bandwidth you have! Consider this the ultimate “freelance” gig, but coupled with a variety of support departments (scheduling, billing, client resolution, etc) to help you focus on what you do best.


Responsibilities


  • Attend weekly client calls (Senior Ad Buyer joins 1 per month)
  • Monitor ad performance, analyze data, and make necessary adjustments to optimize campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling ad copy and visual assets.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their brand and marketing objectives, and create campaigns to drive conversions, increase revenue, and improve ROI.
  • Conducts ad buying execution
  • Generate reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Responsible communication with the internal team for the senior ad buyer
  • Stay updated on changes in social media platforms, algorithm updates, and emerging trends in social media advertising.
  • Manage ad budgets and allocate spending for maximum ROI.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new advertising opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Develop and implement social media advertising campaigns, focusing on Facebook and Instagram, under the guidance of senior ad buyers.

  • Strong knowledge of social media advertising platforms, particularly Facebook Ads Manager and Instagram Ads.
  • Proficiency in ad management tools and analytics platforms, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, and Facebook Ads Manager.


Qualifications


  • At least 1 year of experience in social media advertising, preferably in an eCommerce D2C environment
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and content marketing is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with managing ad budgets and optimizing spending for maximum ROI
  • Experience working with and managing budgets for social media advertising campaigns


Additional Information


  • Client leads are provided, so no need to hunt for your own.
  • You have the freedom to set your own hourly rate, ideally between $25-50/hour, DOE
  • Dedicated email and Zoom lines will be provided for client communication.
  • Fully remote work.
  • This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
  • Work hours are based on the number of client accounts you have.
  • Support functions, including scheduling and billing departments, are available to assist you.
  • Meetings and communications with clients occur between 9 am - 5 pm EST.
