Greystone Labs is the Research & Development team at Greystone. It is our job to imagine, anticipate and engineer the future of commercial lending. From intuitive client facing apps, probabilistic financial modeling, due diligence automation, data-driven credit underwriting, every facet of commercial lending is in our purview. The labs have a heavy bias towards action and experimentation. We expect every team member to have a very healthy curiosity, be resourceful and self-directing.
We are seeking a Junior Project Manager, a professional with working knowledge of multifamily lending and a desire for advancing business technology. This role also functions as a Product Champion, and requires a highly organized individual, knowledgeable of business processes and strategy, with strong communication and presentation skills, providing training sessions and presenting to executive audiences. This is an in-person role. You are expected to work from our New York City office 4 days a week.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Information Governance: Document, maintain and communicate business and/or IT processes, workflows, standards, initiative status, policies and procedures.
- Product and Platform Development: Work with Greystone IT and technology vendors to explore innovation and promote and align product roadmap to Greystone’s technology and business strategies.
- Innovation: Work closely with the senior product manager, product stakeholder(s), lending operations and originations teams to define/align product roadmap(s) to support greater automation and efficiency.
- Presentation and Training: Coordination of functional overviews, training, demos, exploration sessions with executives, clients, and staff.
- Initiative Oversight: Coordinate and participate in cross-functional teams that address development and integration of new systems and platforms both internal and external to Greystone.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- JR Project Manager 3.
- Preferably experienced in Agile concepts, establishing a product roadmap, and maintaining a product backlog.
- Experience working within the multifamily lending industry and its associated technologies and platforms.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate thoughts and ideas to others verbally and in writing.
- Experience analyzing and documenting systems and processes.
- Strong MS Excel Skills.

Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
