Junior Designer Jobs

The Junior Designer will be responsible for assisting with brand design, website design, brand
marketing, strategic marketing, campaign design, and brand development.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for keeping up with overall trends and bringing those ideas to the team
• Manage visual concepts for website and mobile apps/ mobile experience
• Ability to create organic content such as videos and pictures to be used across various marketing channels
• Assists, plans, and executes design projects and other creative materials including monthly campaigns; ex. Websites, magazines, emails, ad campaigns, advertisements, merch, packaging, employee uniforms, mood boards, new product launches, copywriting, etc.
• This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines due to the nature of the cannabis industry. Time management, multi-tasking, and being able to advocate for yourself and your workload capacity are important
• You will work closely with your marketing team to prepare materials for final approval from the VP of Marketing
• Assists in driving campaigns and overall branding through ideation, creation, maintenance, monitoring, organization, and reporting of digital/physical ad campaigns across brand channels and platforms consistently
• Acts as project manager for creative projects and activations like photoshoots and art direction and development
• Collaborate with teams to establish and articulate creative brand solutions and come up with creative ideas which help bring forward fresh thinking and transform businesses and behavior.
• Create website guidelines and ensure that all new campaigns are following the site guidelines
• Highly creative, has the capacity to take marketing direction into visuals for the brand that is impactful, provoke emotions, and lead to sales
• Taking ownership of design techniques and visual elements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• History of graphic design, art direction, or related field.
• Proficient organization and time management skills
• Proficient in Adobe Suites, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects
• Strong creative thinking with attention to detail
• UX / UI experience and knowledge
• Proficient with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, GCal, Docs, Slides, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in, or having completed a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Design program experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc…)

COMPENSATION DETAILS

• Accrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2.5 weeks per year
• Supplementary insurance plans are available including Life, Disability, Accident, and Critical Illness
• Pay Range: $50,000 to $60,000; actual pay will be determined based on qualifications
• Health, Dental, and Vision insurance plans are available
• 401k and ROTH 401k plans
