The Role
The Junior Accountant Intern will be exposed to various areas of the accounting function including cell phone expense tracking, reporting, & accruals, various other monthly accruals, prepaid tracking, reporting & accruals, and other general accounting responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for a driven student who will not only work alongside seasoned accounting professionals but will also be given the opportunity to bring their bright ideas to the team.
Your day-to-day
  • Preparation of monthly accruals
  • Review, audit and tracking of prepaid expenses
  • Supporting team members in special projects
  • Review, audit and tracking of external accounting fees
  • Other general ledger duties
  • Manage the auditing, tracking and reporting of cell phone reimbursements for the US and Canada
Your current skills
  • The Ideal candidate should be working towards a degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Strong Organization and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and good with Excel
Candidate Profile
You have the ability and interest in working full time (40 hours/week at maximum) in our Sunnyvale office or remote. You are currently pursuing an undergraduate accounting degree, and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA. This internship is scheduled to run for 11 weeks through August 2023.
