Job Description

As a Jr. Accountant, you will work closely with the Accounting and Finance Teams to develop the necessary reports that help provide business insight, improvements and solutions. As a Jr. Accountant at United Allergy Service you will take part in the operational reporting process, month ending, and special projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and designs presentations with a lens to communicate data in a way that is digestible for any leader
  • Create journal entries and other financial transactions that adhere to GAAP
  • Supports and develops monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Assists with year-end Audit requests
  • Assist during month end reporting and special projects
  • Ability to work directly with team members in assisting with expense report & mileage reimbursement issues
  • Maintain and reconciles General Ledgers Accounts
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or Statistics.
BACKGROUND & EXPERTISE:
Experience creating complex reporting while working with multiple parties to develop solutions to complex issues.
COMPUTER LITERACY:
Advanced understanding of MS Excel is required. Intermediate knowledge of all other MS Office products is preferred. Workday and Salesforce ERP knowledge is a plus!
