Jr. System Administrator Jobs

Go Maverick Group is look for a full time, Jr. System Administrator to help support a large IT modernization project, as well as daily maintenance of existing servers and networking equipment and support of end users. This is a great opportunity to grow your system administration skills in a company that is in the process of modernizing it's IT infrastructure as well as preparing to shift many services from Windows on-premise to Azure cloud.
You will be responsible for:

• Daily end user support on a tierless Service Desk
• Maintaining and patching existing physical and virtual Servers
• Upgrading Windows Servers from 2008R2/2012 to 2019
• Helping prepare to move from on-prem AD and Exchange to Azure AD and Exchange Online

If you have 1+ year of experience in system administration and are looking to continue to expand your skillset into supporting all facets of an IT infrastructure, this is a great opportunity to grow!
YOU MUST BE LOCAL TO THE CLEVELAND AREA AND ABLE TO WORK ON-SITE ON THE EAST SIDE OF CLEVELAND FULL TIME
Requirements
1+ Year of experience with:

• Prioritization and triage of daily Help Desk tickets
• Exposure to Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Core Microsoft 365 services
• Windows Server administration, including Hyper-V for virtualization
• Administration of core Active Directory and Group Policy
• Preparing for, upgrading and thorough testing of Windows Server OS version upgrade
• IT troubleshooting directly with end users

Experience with network troubleshooting (Switching, Routing, Firewall) is not required but is a strong plus.
