Hybrid/flexible schedules available with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week.
Position Summary
Canadian Solar, Inc. is looking for a responsible Sales Administrator, who will run, administer, organize and flawlessly execute on all project activities for the EP Cube Sales Team in the US. While new business development isn’t the primary focus of this role, you’ll work closely with the team to flawless execute outreach activities, interface with customers, set appointments and drive new sales by aligning our internal team and support staff with potential customers.
The person in this role must have an attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. A team-oriented approach and the ability to work with different personalities and professional styles are essential. The ability to listen and understand expectations, take direction, and communicate effectively and on a timely basis is a key to success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather data from various sources to help with forecasting and reporting. Draft quotes within Salesforce and other CRMs.
- Provide customers with status of contracts, allocations, orders, and confirms progress and status of each. Liaison with each business unit as needed to provide seamless customer service to clients.
- Prepares activity reports, PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, market research updates and supports in creation of business plans.
- Efficiently and accurately sets up projects, track all initiatives that are in motion, schedule and lead project reviews. Create reporting tools for senior management to have full visibility on each project.
- Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information as directed in overall support of the EP Cube Sales team.
- Partner with Sales Leadership in the creation and execution of our Approved Installer Program
- Assist with contract related items including draft, execution and follow through.
- Establish and maintain systems for archiving, tracking, and updating project materials; schedule meetings and conference calls; prepares materials for meetings and keeps minutes of meetings.
- Schedule potential customers for various activities like meetings, training sessions, and related sales activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have 2-4 years of interacting with professional teams in a sales support, contract and project management, account management, or client services experience and Excellent customer service
- Ability to be in the office 3 days a week some flexibility to work from home. Potential travel up to 20% of the year depending on sales activities
- Strong experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing and influence others to meet established deadlines
- Results oriented, organized, highly motivated, and creative
- Proficient with Salesforce (or similar CRM software)
- Solar Industry or renewable industry experience is a plus
- Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, concisely, and professionally
- Passion for partnering with Sales professionals and a desire to build a long term
Compensation & Benefits
Canadian Solar offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits and performance bonus package based on an annual objective achievement. Our generous benefits package includes a 401(k) Retirement Plan, medical/dental/life/disability program, PTO and sick days. This is a full-time salaried position.
The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000. This range represents annual base salary only, without regard to location, and does not include bonuses or incentives or benefits that may apply. The pay range for this role is subject to change.
