It/ Helpdesk Tech Support /Network Admin Assistant

We are looking for a qualified IT Technician to assist our IT Department. To succeed in this role, this person needs to have thorough knowledge of computer software, hardware, various internet applications, networks, and operating systems. They must be critical thinkers and problem-solvers with great attention to detail. Since end-user support and teamwork are important aspects of the role, excellent communication and people skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
• Work with IT team to handle all IT help desk requests, follow up to ensure complete
• Review / Approve printer, cell phone, related IT contracts and Invoices
• Set up/Manage Network users
• Report on/track requests for trends/recurring issues that need to be resolved
• Check computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards, etc.) to ensure functionality
• Keep hardware in IT area organized
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.)
• Maintain Hardware Inventory per company/user (including printers, computers, cell phones)

Requirements

• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Excellent communication ability
• Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
