Manage enterprise wide On-prem and SaaS software licenses through Flexera Software asset management tool.

Responsible for the governance (contractual compliance) and management of all aspects of the license management function throughout the software asset lifecycle.

Vendor management or supplier negotiation training and experience a plus;

Budget management experience is a plus;

Hardware lifecycle management experience is a plus; and

Previous experience with ServiceNow platform as a service management software preferred.

Assist in inventory management, procurement, and shipment activities.

Skilled knowledge of database systems, Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Microsoft Server usage and language (read, understand SQL scripts) DBA background preferred.

Previous experience with asset management tools (Flexera, SCCM, Casper, etc.), ServiceNow and SharePoint are desirable.

Strong communication, project management and business process analysis skills .

Proactively recommend opportunities to improve asset management policies, procedures and processes.

Provide guidance to the team’s Software Asset Management Application & Server Administrator and advise on licensing impacts associated with inventory data.

Expand the Software Request Catalog to support an evolving list of software titles offered to UMG employees globally.

Manage the onboarding and offboarding of software requests for all UMG employees.

At least 5 Years experience in IT Asset Management Program

Experience in Asset Management and Risk Tools, such as Archer, PeopleSoft, Coupa, ServiceNow

Project and Program Management Experience

Analyzes and reports to senior management on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics.

Oversees business management projects by monitoring and tracking risks, issues and action items.

Manages team in assigned area and makes decisions on tactical issues that impact the business.

3-5 years of IT personnel management experience.

Experience with ServiceNow application or other asset management platforms.

Partners with ServiceNow administrator to ensure data integrity and ongoing enhancement of the IT CMDB (Configuration Management Database) to maintain accuracy.

Work with IT Management team, and other key stakeholders, to refine and improve current IT Asset Management processes and lifecycle.

Manage the daily activities of the ITAM team.

Acts as coach and mentor to ITAM team and assists with development and improvement of team morale, skillset, and performance.

Manage and direct day to day operations for the Office of IT Asset Management.

Maintain IT asset management system, determine and recommend best practices for technology inventory control at the University.

Knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft Office, internet browsers, email systems and other general applications.

Knowledge with iOS, Android, Windows, and any other operating systems on tablets and smart phones.

Knowledge of imaging software such asWDS, SmartDeploy orSCCM.

Knowledge of Outlook, MacOSX, and Windows OS.

Daily coordination of assets and inventory for the operational needs of the AV and Networking teams

Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in finance, IT, business, management or a related field

Creates and manages enterprise wide asset management systems. Maintains and manages software license information and updates for compliance

Manages software licenses, vendor contracts, and hardware assets for entire organization

Provides support to the Finance department by providing asset information and managing the physical inventory control.

Responsible for business software budget preparation coordinates with Finance

Manages vendors in Oracle by ensuring proper documents are submitted and updated as needed

Experience designing and consistently following technical SOPs.

Experience managing inventory and the security of physical assets.

Collaborative, customer service mindset, with basic technical troubleshooting skills.

Manage the end of asset lifecycle data destruction and recycling of physical assets.

Curious and comfortable learning new technologies.

Processing returned assets to be added to the fleet for repurposing.
