To build on that success and support future growth, we are seeking an Inventory Manager to support one of our non-food divisions (either Hardgoods, Home or Apparel). As an Inventory Manager, you will be monitoring trends, analyzing issues, and recommending improvements, as well as providing leadership and training to inventory team members.

What You’ll Do:
As an Inventory Manager you’ll be responsible for purchasing, flowing and managing inventory levels of assigned categories. You’ll work cross-functionally to develop buying plans and maximize inventory and sales performance. You’ll also be responsible for:

• Maintaining system data integrity to assure best data is available for critical decision-making
• Ensuring inventory levels satisfy demand and meet financial objectives associated with fulfillment, turnover, and profitability
• Managing all aspects of the non-food catalog development process, as related to Purchasing to assure all deadlines are met
• Monitoring inventory levels at the category, product, and SKU levels to maximize inventory turnover, and optimize cash flow, while meeting customer demand
• Training and/or supervising the training of new department employees to assure they are full trained and have all the knowledge and tools they need to be successful

We’re looking for someone with strong verbal and written communication skills with buying experience. Ideally you will have a bachelor’s degree in a Global Supply Chain Logistics, Business, Statistics or a related discipline and 3+ years’ of inventory management experience. In addition, we are looking for:

• 3+ year data analysis experience
• 3+ year experience maximizing returns on excess inventory
• The ability to work independently with limited supervision
• An extensive knowledge and use of MS Office and Windows applications.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Supplier bases and the ability to troubleshoot issues to ensure a reliable merchandise supply
