Inventory Assistant Jobs

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM FLSA Status: Non-Exempt PRIMARY PURPOSE: The primary responsibility for this position is to complete data entry into our inventory system for online sales. This position will also assist with other inventory tasks in support of the team, including collecting and tracking information related to key accounts in the areas of waste and construction. EXPECTATIONS: Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Complete data entry into FileMaker system. Answer incoming phone calls and answer customer inquiries regarding the sale. Assist first time buyers with online registration and be a resource to provide answers for frequently asked questions. Assist the Inventory Lead with photo processing for online sales, including proofing, numbering, resizing, and completing touch ups on photos. Assist with after sales reporting. Upload and update dealership inventory on online platforms. Focus on repetition, details, and proofreading. Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws. Maintain a professional image at all times. Expected to follow the Company's safety rules and safety policies. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE : Excellent customer service skills. Accuracy and strong attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks when necessary. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to learn and help out in other areas of the team, when needed. Balance of quality and quantity of work completed. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Oral communication over the phone and in person. Ability to view a computer monitor. Sitting for extended periods of time. Alpha/numeric keyboarding WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primarily an office setting in a team environment. The work environment for this position can be varied, due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
