Materials Manager Jobs

Reports to: CFO/Administrator
Job Summary: Responsible for the coordination of the material management system throughout the hospital with regards to the planning, procurement, processing, storage, control and distribution of materials and services. This system should meet or exceed the hospital objectives and patient requirements and accomplished at the most favorable cost consistent with the best quality of goods required.
Requirements:

• Leadership for the management of bi-annual inventory throughout the Hospital
• Knowledge of contracts and negotiations, securing bids and quotes with various Vendors
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Determining the final source of supplies, quantity purchased and delivery schedule
• Ability to work well with managers within the Hospital
• Minimum of Associate degree in Business Management, economics, or a related field or 3 to 5 years’ experience in Materials Management
• Computer knowledge
