The New York Post is seeking an energetic and highly organized photo editor Intern to join our visual team this summer! Come take part and continue a long tradition of compelling photographic journalism and visual storytelling through the lens of a truly unique brand, bringing vision and creativity as we continue to grow across all platforms.
Hours: M-F, 10am-6pm
The goal of our internship program is to educate students on the day-to-day experiences of photo editors in a dynamic newsroom. The ideal candidate would be a hard worker with an eagerness to learn, who pays attention to detail and has a love for all forms of visual storytelling & photography. Responsibilities may include: photo research, photo editing and basic administrative duties.
Note: This is NOT a photography based internship. This role is a desk-based photo editing experience.
What you’ll need:
- Knowledge and use of all mainstream social media
- Must enjoy working collaboratively and accurately; attention to detail a must
- Photojournalism, Design, Photography majors are preferred
- Must have great knowledge of entertainment, news and sports
- Polished communication skills, both written and verbal
- Passion for all things digital and The New York Post!
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite required; Photoshop
- Ability to multitask, balance priorities and thrive in a fast-paced newsroom environment
- Ability to research multimedia content that enhances stories

Pay Range: $15/hr – $15/hr
