Responsibilities for photo retoucher

· Possesses a strong conceptual skill, high level sense of the production process

· Prior experience working with digital retouching for printing

· Maintain computers and displays with special attention to color calibration

· Guarantee technology functions properly during the shoot, including recovery from crashes

· Organize and maintain continued functioning and backup of digital captures

· Collaborate with Creative Directors, Producers and Studio Director on shot list tracking including versioning, image selection, delivery status

· Advise the photographer and assistants on exposure, lighting, focus, set background

· Work closely with Studio Director on implementing metadata requirements during and after shoot

· Style images while in progress

· Retouch images with direction from Photographer, Creative Directors, Art Directors, Producers and Studio Artists

Qualifications for photo retoucher

· Bi-lingual ability and floral/florist experience are a plus

· Color correction, compositing, masking, sharpening, lighting, resizing

· Master of current imaging software and digital design tools such as Capture One Pro and Adobe CS developing design technologies that push design and storytelling

· Ability to deliver while remaining calm, in a fast-around, deadline driven environment

· BFA or equivalent in Graphic Design or related subject

· Experience working on 3D animation
